Take a Word - Exotic

Take a Word challenge - Exotic.

This ATC-size digital piece is my entry for the TAW challenge. I used one of the Nicecrane Photoplay covers plus a photo of a strelitzia, the bird-of-paradise flower.

I'm afraid I'm not good at defining exotic. Several years ago when I first started blogging, one of the challenges was "exotic." Never having been to Holland and remembering all the exciting stories from my childhood reading books, I chose to do an entry using Holland. I think my friends from that part of the world split their sides laughing.

    Beautiful entry, Faye! When I think of exotic, I think of camel caravans, incense, tinkling bells, temples, spices, and beautiful barefoot dancers twirling with fluid movement...all things foreign to me! Thanks for sharing!

    I think she looks quite exotic with the 'bird of paradise' flower Faye.
    After several patient years, my son has just had his first flowering and is over the moon! Love xx

    When I moved to north east Scotland 10 years ago an avocado was considered exotic by the indigenous population! Your lady is a regular Carmen Miranda! Fabulous.
