Take a Word - Door

Take a Word's challenge this week is: Door. My door was a freebie from Deb. The woman came from Jeanette. The angel came from Graphics Fairy. A couple of brushes of Annika von Holdt's were used. All of these layers are on a background I made from photoshopped image of a Lindor Lindt's truffle wrapper scan.

My first thought was of Holman Hunt's painting "The Light of the World" depicting Christ knocking at the door. I wasn't sure that it is in public domain, so I decided not to incorporate it into my work.

  1. Exquisite piece, Faye, what a beautiful image! I've just scanned some printed tissue from a shoe box to use for b/gs - amazing what you can use!
