Watercolors this Week

 This is a flower I did on Thursday

while doing art with art friend Laura.

I should probably stick with flowers since

my birds look like comic book characters.

This is what Laura, my art pal made today.

She has just started playing with watercolors so I was

so proud of her for this beautiful flower.

In real life the petals have more red in them

but I couldn't adjust the color without making

the green really weird looking.

And finally 2 more I did while watching TV tonight.

This is the watercolor I am using for Word Art Wednesday.

This watercolor was done Wednesday while Masayo

was visiting and learning to paint with watercolors.

And lastly for this week, a little flower I did

Thursday night. I'm loving this painting flowers.

Word Art Wednesday

I haven't entered Word Art Wednesday in a long time.

I love the idea of using scripture in my art so I am placing

this in this week's WAW challenge.

More Watercolor Flowers

 This first photo is of my portion of the Saturday class' cooperative art.

You can see what I've done lately by comparing it with the earlier photo.

Gross frustration, disappointment, and anger at being scammed

by a contractor who took my money (lots of it), leftover supplies, 

and walked off the job recently without finishing the project led to hours

of painting watercolor flowers to relieve the stress. These have been

made into greetings cards. Some have already been sent out and

I didn't get their pictures taken. This is my PPF entry for this week.
