#29 of 29 and PPF

Here is my final face for the 29 Faces Challenge. It was really a challenge,

not the drawing but the posting and visiting. I love the challenge but I think

I bit off more than I could chew. This will also be my entry for Paint Party Friday.

Faces 25-28

Almost got so far behind I couldn't catch up, but here are

four faces for the 29 Faces challenge.

Faces 23 and 24 of 29 Faces

This crayon drawing is not new. However, I have done some

fiddling around with Pixlr which has really enhanced the painting.

This is my face 23 of the 29 Faces challenge I am trying to do.

Well, not everyone can have perfect features, so

here is imperfect face #24.

Face #22

Here is #22 of the 29 Faces.

Caran d'Ache Neocolor II is the medium.

PPF and Face #21

Before you respond to any email from me, be sure it says: "yahoo.com" 

I just got an email purporting to be from a PPF participant and I did not

check out the complete URL. It took me to a virus-clean site (according to

my antivirus program) but it was spam for Dr. Oz.

Faces # 19 and 20

A couple of sketches done in the doctor's waiting room this morning.

I don't now if the lower one is a boy or a girl. I meant it to be a young

girl, but it looks like she might be a he with longish hair.  These are

#19 and #20 for 29 Faces.  I have meetings and gatherings for the next

3 days and may not get back here anytime soon.

29 Faces #18

This face was done with Neocolor II water soluble crayons.

The background was done in watercolor on a separate paper.

This is 18th face for the 29 Faces challenge.

Faces #16 and #17

My daughter called to wish me happy Valentine's Day last night.

I always seem to make doodles when I'm on the phone so here are

the ones that happened during our 45 minute conversation. I am

counting them as faces 16 and 17 for the 29 Faces Challenge.

29 Faces #15

Here is my Face #15 of the 29 Faces challenge.

29 Faces #14

This is sort of a rerun. I took a painting I made last year and

used Photoshop Elements to change it up somewhat and to

add the scripture. This is my entry for Word Art and 29 Faces.

We are expecting a gigantic snowstorm this afternoon and into

tomorrow. Power outages are expected. I sincerely hope that I

am able to keep electricity going. In case you don't hear from me

just know I am "hunkered down" trying to stay warm.

29 Faces #12 and #13

These two faces (#12 and #13) were done in Neocolor 11

water soluble crayons and outlined with black pen. These 

are for 29 Faces Challenge. Other entries are HERE.

29 Faces #10 and #11

My son calls almost every night. Usually the calls are less than 2 minutes.

The face on the paper towel was one of those. The other doodle was done

when we had a longer conversation. OK, I promise I will try to make a face

worth showing, if not today then surely tomorrow, for 29 Faces challenge.

29 Faces # 8

This is #8 in the 29 Faces Challenge. It started as

a watercolor. I then applied one of the filters from

the Photoshop Elements to give her this speckled

29 Faces # 6 and #7

Back to ordinary pretty faces. This one was sketched in pencil, painted in watercolors, and finished with black pen. This is #6 for the 29 Faces Challenge. See all the entries HERE.

Here is a goofy looking phone doodle. Usually they are pretty; occasionally they are cartoonish.

29 Faces #5

Giggles said if something doesn't work out, disregard that and move on to something that does work. Doing a collage with a sun face didn't work for me, so I am moving on to a sketch I did this morning. This will be my face #5 for the 29 Faces challenge. Looking down is a new view for me to  try to capture. I can't tell if she is reading or is angry at someone. Check out 29 Faces HERE.

29 Faces #4

Still on the challenge to try something a bit different, this is a collage made from a travel cruise brochure that included parts of Europe and Asia. I used Modge Podge to stick down the pieces I wanted and some Gesso to make me a white spot in the middle. I wanted a sunny look so I added Ms Sun in acrylics paint. I did her features in Sharpie. 29 Faces #3 - The Steelhead Fisherman

I'm out of my element completely here, but I am determined to keep

trying new things. This is a fisherMAN holding his steelhead. This is

no one in particular, but I used a photo taken of a family friend on vacation 

in the western part of New York state as my jumping off place. This is my

third face for the 29 Faces Challenge for February 2014. To see all the entries

It 's so much fun to create young and beautiful portraits, but I was thinking. There are quite a few of us who aren't in that category any longer. So I decided to try a more mature face for my Face #1 in 29 Faces Challenge. The sketch was a doodle I did while waiting my turn at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
