Art Cards - on wheels

This is the second card I've made for Art Cards Challenge. At first, I didn't see the word: "auf" and did a card with a sewing machine that had wheels.

This one uses a buggy/pram stamp by Stampin' Up and is for a new baby's arrival.

  1. As I browsed through your past posts, I find that I love your cards - so soft and pretty and a great way to share your style with a handmade gift. I've only just started making a few here and there and like everything else, there's a definite learning curve (as well as supply purchases!).

You asked about the brush I used to make my black silhouette trees: I'll revise the blog and add it in, but I used a new fan brush, heavily loaded w/ watercolor then pushed upward strongly to make the kind of lacy look. Kind of bouncing/pouncing along. The tree centers were more densely pounced and then as I moved outward, you can see I pushed less strongly, more like dabbed to create the curve of the branches. Thanks for asking....
