Art Creations Friday

My entry for ACF is a posterization of one of my paintings where I have inserted the beautiful little girl reading a book.

I'm trying to get back into art a little today. So much has been happening around here. DH is not well so I am doing more work around the house. Today I must get after the bushels and bushels of leaves on the lawn. Raking leaves is good exercise up to a point. After raking a couple of hours yesterday, I was pretty tired. I may use the leaf blower, but it is so heavy.

  4. This looks like the water-mill near my house Faye !!
It is such a peaceful image !
I hope you've finished cleaning up all the leaves. Autumn is beautiful but hard work when it storms and to get the garden/lawn 'winter-ready' isn't it ?
Hope DH is doing better soon.

  7. Beautiful painting and love the way you were able to add the girl reading. Hope DH feels better soon. Raking leaves will wear you out. Get the blower :)

  9. Love the effect you have done with what is obviously a lovely painting. My DH is poorly too - got a very bad back and has been in bed all week. Lots to do around here as well. Going to get my feet up later.
