Tag it On - Australia
Here is my tag featuring Australia for Tag it On. I googled the map and eucalyptus leaves. I also googled the emu, made a digital brush from it and combined all this digitally, then printed it out. I used green ribbon and forest green distress ink. The stamped images (sun for hot climate and fan to keep the air moving) with a charcoal distress ink.

Dragon's Dream Tag it On - The Beach
There are mountain people and there are beach people. Most of my friends are beach people. Elizabeth who formulated this challenge for Tag it On seems to be a beach person. I am a mountain person although I once lived on an island in the San Diego area. A fish out of water, so to speak.
Here is my tag for the challenge. It is mostly a watercolor background with a stamp of hot air balloons and a shell.

Tag it On - Asian
This is my tag for the Tag it On challenge (Asian). I used a background I had made earlier, stamped it with my butterfly stamp that Frankie gave me, put on a strip of asian writing that Merrie gave me along with the two whispering women image (also from Frankie).

Tag it On - Transportation
For this tag, my entry to Tag it On, I have used Bazzill cardstock and have punched the corners with a Martha Stewart punch. The background is ordinary cardstock that I have misted with homemade shimmery mist along with some from Moonglow. The old car came from a magazine. The woman feeding chickens is one of my dh's ancestors. The stamps I used are from Stampin' Up and Purple Onion and are heat embossed with fine gold embossing powder. Helen chose this theme of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

Ticket to Ride - TIO
This is my entry to Tag it On, where the theme to the challenge is Ticket to Ride. The ticket is googled. The trolley is from Dover. My music background stamp has nothing at all written on it so I don't know who made it. Does anyone know? The border punch is by Fiskars.

The Whole of the Moon
Here is my tag for Tag it On (The Whole of the Moon) challenge. The background has lots of dark moonshadow mists on it. The moon is cut with a circle punch from gold color card stock. The bird is a stamp. The trees were stamped in moonshadow midnight copper embossing powder. Around the edges I used Ranger copper embossing powder that Laura gave me. The hanger for the tag is copper wire.

Tag it On - Boots
Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots were Made for Walking" song is the inspiration for this week's TIO challenge theme. I found this map that has Island Park, Idaho on it and decided to go Western - cowboy boots, hat, etc. Island Park is a famous fishing mecca for flyfishermen. Henry's Fork is near. Also, Yellowstone National Park is just up the road a few miles away. Island Park is my favorite vacation spot. We have been there on 5 or 6 different vacation trips.
On another note, my brother-in-law, a Coloradan, always wore boots, never shoes. Then he had a stroke and had to wear shoes that would work with his disabilities. At first it was really strange to see him in shoes. Me, I've never been able to wear boots, but I think they are really attractive on the right people.
The tree stamp represents all the gorgeous evergreens out in that part of the US.

Tag it On - Mother, Embroidery
I started this tag some time ago using a cracker box for the substrate and some gesso and odds and ends. Today the challenge for Tag it On is Mother (Pink Floyd) and embroidery. I think the young woman in the corner looks like a mother. I did the embroidery flower on a scrap of misted paper. Home Sweet Home is stamped in StaZon. The "lace" at the bottom is a Fiskar border punch out.

Tag it On - Fashion
I have no idea how a magnetic corset works, but I think it should surely be a fashion must. So I have used this ad, a freebie from Dover. My background is cardstock with sprays and mists, I received today from Lindy's Stamp Gang. They are so gorgeous "in person". My stamps are of an elephant and part of a stamp, using the words: dream for tomorrow. I figure it one is using a magnetic corset, one certainly is dreaming of looking better. Take a peek at all the wonderful fashion-oriented tags at Tag it On.

Tag it On - Red Red Wine
Here is my tag for Tag it On, where the theme is Red Red Wine (use lots of red and a real stamp). Most of the images including the tag were cut from magazine ads. The one stamp is from Stubby Stamper, and I think it may be a perfume bottle instead of a wine bottle.
My entry for Tag Tuesday yesterday was mistakenly identified by me as Tag it On. I have now made the correction.

Tag it On - Bed of Roses
The hurricane has gone. Today the electricity came back on after being off for almost 96 hours. After I cleaned out both the chest freezer and the refrigerator and did various other things to clean up the house from its "camping-like" experience, I finally had time to check email and blog challenges.
This tag is for Tag it On, where Bed of Roses is the theme.
I started with a cereal box on which I used gesso and bits and pieces of vintage images. The rose is stamped onto acetate with brown StaZon and attached to the tag.
I just noticed that Metal is supposed to be a part of the tag. I have added a metal button. See the revised tag below.

Tag it On - Child's Play
For my entry to Tag it On (Child's Play), I stamped the white cardstock with the stamp of a child patching up her bear. I think it may be Stampin' Up but there are no readable markings. I colored her and the background with Prismacolor pencils blended with a paper stump dipped in odorless mineral spirits. The children in the foreground came from Dover Publications.

Nature's Bounty - TIO
This tag is my entry for nature's bounty (TIO). The apple is my only fruit stamp (Rubber Stampede). I do have a tiny stamp of carrots, but it was too small for this. My background paper is by Daisy D's.
Edit: I found I also had a stamp of berries so I have done another tag for the challenge. Sorry it is so simple but I have to rush off to a dental appointment this morning.

Tag it On - Embossing
Today is busy so I did a simple tag for Tag it On, where the theme is embossing. I used a brass template and stylus to dry emboss the three butterflies onto this patterned paper. The heat embossing was done with Stampendous Pearl Lustre Garnet embossing powder. The "believe" stamp came from Michael's and has no brand name on it.
Edited:
I loved some of the entries that had been embossed by machine, so I did another one using my cuttlebug folder. The butterfly is by Stampin' Up and is embossed in white on brown cardstock. The cuttlebug folder was used to emboss a piece of vellum.

Tag it On - Look to the Skies
This is my entry to Tag it On. I did a watercolor sky on white cardstock. The stamp of the sun (barcode 25729, distributed by Greenbrier Int. - no brand given) was stamped on some yellow cardboard. The stamp of the balloons (PSX) was stamped on decorative paper made by Me and My Big Ideas. The collaged mountains were also made of that decorative paper.

Tag it On - Tim Holtz
I tried to make my tag using mostly Tim Holtz materials so it would qualify for Tag it On challenge featuring Tim Holtz.
My substrate is watercolor paper which I laid down in a puddle of Ranger Distress reinkers: sage, lavender and mahogany. It made a lovely rose color. I had not intended for them to run together to form a single color, but I like the result.
I used sequin waste with the sage ink and some Ranger music tape.
My flower was punched from a McGill flower punch and the leaf from a Fiskar punch. The petals are Ranger alcohol ink. the leaf is Distress sage.
The flourish was drawn on cardstock and cut out and then embossed with Ranger Superfine gold. "Friend" was handwritten with a Papermate erasable pen (EraserMate) and embossed in the gold embossing powder.
My final touch was to run a little Ranger diamond Stickles around the center of the flower.
Edit: I again forgot to use a stamp. I don't do stamps very well so I don't use them as much as I should. Anyway, I have both versions here. The "dear friend" stamp is by Stampin' Up.

Tag it On - Chivalry
This square tag was made using the technique I found on Art Cards Challenge. This is for Tag it On (Chivalry).
The image is from Dover Publications and is an illustration by H. J. Ford for Andrew Lang's 1902 "The Book of Romance." The title of the painting is "Lancelot bears off Guenevere."
The stamp from Purple Onion designs along the left is done in StaZon.
