Girl in Yellow Hat.

This is done in watercolor pencils and is a detail from a larger painting.

Something strange is going on.
I get 3 times as many views as I do comments.
I know some of my stuff does not rate a favorable comment.
However, every now and then some of it does.
I have set this up so anyone can comment as anonymous.
And that will stay unless I get spam or unfriendly comments.

Here is how to do it:

Under the picture/post, where it says "posted by Faye",
there is the word "comments". It may have a number beside it.
Click on the "comments" and it will take you to a separate box.
Write your comment in the box.
Where it says "comment as" there is an up and down arrow.
Scroll down to find a category you can comment in.
Hit publish and you are in.

    1. Thanks. The girl is kneeling and tending to some plants. It is not drawn well so I lopped that part off.

  7. Very nice...love the yellow hat...but I am a hat girl.Don't wear them much anymore but I still love them! Be very careful with anonymous comments! They can infiltrate into other posts on your blog as porn and prescriptions. I had it all through my blog with links until I started monitoring comment. I only let registered users comment. I had to go through all the comments... and they come in by the hundreds....it was a nightmare!

  10. Hello Faye, and thanks so much for the comment you left on my blog. I confess I'm one of those people who doesn't comment on every blog I visit, but this post (and your comment!) have reminded me how nice it is when I do get a comment. Thanks for reminding me again about the importance of community on the internet.
