So Artful - Dragonfly
I've got lots to do today so I made this quick digital piece for So Artful Challenges today, where the theme is dragonfly.
My dragonfly was a rubber stamp, that was stamped on white cardstock. I then scanned it to my computer, where I did some major photoshop on it. I turned the dragonfly to look more natural. Then I proceeded to remove each little segment between the veins to make a png image (which is now stored on my computer as such).
The flower is a Dover image. The background was a golden brown and tan, changed by Photoshop Elements to blue.

What a pretty piece, Faye. I like the way you superimposed the dragonfly "skeleton". It's very effective.

Another very clever piece of art. The dragonfly is superb.

OMG! Faye,I love how you made the dragonfly translucent. What a lot of detailed altering you did on the dragonfly. It turned out beautiful.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to thank you for popping by my blog and reading my "hope" story. It's not always easy to share such personal things on the blog, but if by doing so, I can encourage others, then it makes it worthwhile.
Blessings to you,
Patti
