Created by Hand - Ornament from template

Here is an ornament made with 8 circles, four of which are dark green card  stock that has a gold embossed tree in the center. The other 4 circles were cut from some beautiful double stamped paper I received from Susan in a swap from Art Techniques, a Yahoo group. 

My hat's off to those of you who managed this assignment with ease. I really struggled. The circles were all cut with my circle cutter and I still had trouble getting them to line up right. The resulting ornament looks pretty good. I would hang it on my tree. However, it will take a lot of practicing before I'd give mine to someone as a gift. There are so many blogs that I look forward to viewing and there are so many blogs that already have been awarded this honor. I have just started entering a new challenge for digital artists' blogs, called Artarazzi. The 8 people I am choosing are digital artists. One Stop Craft Challenge #4

Buttons and/or Bells. That is the theme this week for One Stop Craft Challenge. My center image is an alcohol ink and Sheer Heaven® transfer. The garland at the upper left is collaged on (used Christmas card). I could find buttons but I couldn't locate any bells in the house that I could use.

Artarazzi Challenge #2

Theme Thursday - Circus

Here is a digital ATC (2.5 x 3.5") made for the Theme Thursday challenge this week, where the theme is Circus. My digital images of the circus tent and the trapeze artists were from Google.

Paper Minutes Sketch

This is my Paper Minutes Sketch Challenge entry for this week. I started with one of the Duo Twists Pyramage sheets I had won from One Stop and completed the construction. Then I glued this to a background I had made using lots of different Moon Glow mists and alcohol inks. This was stuck to some dark green card stock that I had made flourishes on. Lastly the text Noel and the ribbon were added.

ArtyGirlz and Crazy Amigo Challenges

Arty Girlz challenge today is to use our favorite medium. Mine is Moon Glow mists, so I have used several different ones for my two backgrounds here. Crazy Amigo Challenge asks us to make an art work showing what keeps us warm. My image here says it all: my hat and my gloves keep me warm.

Created by Hand challenge provided us with 3 tree templates to use in our art today. Paperminutes Sketch always provides a nice layout for a card. I combined the two ideas to make this Holiday card. This is last week's paperminutes sketch I am using .
