One Stop and Sketch Saturday
Christmas in July is the theme for One Stop this week. I decided to combine this theme with the sketch given for Sketch Saturday and make a Christmas card from some new papers I got last night from Create for Less. These wonderful people got my order to me in two days. I have no idea how my stuff got from Portland Oregon to the east coast in that short a time. Amazing.

Rainbow Lady's - Wheels
Here is a fun digital piece for Rainbow Lady's Challenge Blog, where the theme is wheels. All males seem to have a love affair with wheels. Even little boys have to have wheels. The images of the boy, the trike, and the nastursium background are all from Dover publications.

Theme Thursday - ATC
Our Theme Thursday challenge this week is ATCs. I'm using this background made this week on glossy cardstock. I used alcohol inks and a resist of petroleum jelly (flourish stamp). The postcard was a small image in a magazine, as was the image of the lovely vintage couple.

Tag Tuesday - Magazine item
For Tag Tuesday, we are to use something from a magazine in our art. My background is watercolor paper that has had various homemade glimmer mists and distress inks applied. The perfume bottle, the black cat, and the plant are all from a magazine.

Marie Antoinette Gothic Arch
Gothic Arches theme this week is Marie Antoinette. I have used this picture of her and posterized it in Photoshop Elements. The gold flourishes are from my favorite swirl/flourish stamp.

ACF - Child with butterfly net
Art Creations Friday presented us with an adorable little child holding a butterfly net. I am using some Dover images to go along with it.
