I found some sheets of acetate in my husband's old papers and decided
to try alcohol inks on them. This turned out so pretty, I think.
Next I used a sponge and leftover alcohol inks and I blotted all over
a sheet of computer paper, adding a bit of gold. I did a bit of stamping so I had
an overall design. I overlaid an acetate sheet on top of this, creating a
shiny surface. I made a card or two using the acetate/paper combination.
This is my entry for Paint Party Friday

ReplyDeleteThis looks such an interesting and effective technique with the inks, the colours make a vibrant abstract on the acetate - I've done this with acrylics but the inks give a much looser and nicer effect. And your stamped/acetate card looks good too.
