This rug has so many funny images in it. Ever since we got it years ago,
I have found people, birds, and animals in it. I decided to take one of
those images and do a painting in Caran d'Ache crayons. I am entering
this in the Paint Party Friday challenge.

What a great place to find inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Have a great Easter weekend, Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteHow cool, I do that too finding figures in carpets lino anything! Have a great easter and blessings.
ReplyDeleteThat's one of my "things" too, to see characters everywhere. I love your carpet gnome!
ReplyDeleteI didn't see this funny bearded fellow in the carpet until I saw your sketch and then looked back - and there he was! What fun it would be (in fantasy land) to combine sketches made from the carpet into another carpet design.
