I've never before altered a playing card and that was the theme for this week's Theme Thursday. Luckily, one of my internet friends had sent me a packet of goodies and in it was a single playing card, the 7 of clubs. I took the card, sanded it, gessoed it, and sprayed it with Moon Shadow Sepia mist. I loved the effect on the gesso. Then I placed some collage items, one of which is a picture of 7 men who are holding farming tools (scythes?).
Sorry about the ridge across the middle. The gesso made my collage do funny.
