The Created by Hand challenge this week is to make a Quietfire Pin-back card. The Crazy Amigo has an open/free theme for a couple of weeks, so I am using this entry for both of the challenges. I will probably attach this 5x5 card to some card stock and send as a birthday card to someone.I have used a bought scrapbook paper instead of doing a marbled paper card, brown card stock, and blue card stock.
I found this somewhat difficult to make. Probably someone more precise than I would not have the trouble cutting with the Xacto knife that I had. Also, I started with a brown 5x5 card stock and cut a decorative paper slightly smaller. I first made a 2x2 hole in the center of the decorative paper and then made the X in the brown card stock to line up with the cut out square.
The brown flaps are folded back and secured with brads. The center blue is a small 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch square that I stamped and glued to the back of the card so that the message peeks out.
