Mostly New Art

Here is the class project from last Monday:

Here is our homework assignment: find 3 leaves and
paint a picture of them. These are painted in watercolors.

And I changed hair and skin color on an old painting:

This elderly lady is Francine Christophe, a Holocaust
survivor. You can hear her story HERE . I did this
watercolor a year ago so it is a rerun.

A final note here: the cards sold well last Saturday
at the church bazaar. It was a fun time.

For some very fine artwork visit Paint Party Friday.

  16. You have had a good week painting! The fall leaves are pretty....the landscape too. Your ladies are wonderful and I'll go look at the link you provided for Francine. I love hearing peoples stories and she promises to have a strong one to tell. I've been to several living history days in our area and always leave with such respect for our elder warriors.
I'd love to hear more about your classes. How many take it with you and do you follow a strict curriculum or have a more playful approach?
