Paternal Grandmother - Late 1890s

Instead of submitting a painting this week, I am offering
this portrait of a wee Victorian era lass for you to use
in your own art. Since my grandmother's name is on the
back of the picture, I think it may have been taken when
she was a toddler. This is for Paint Party Friday. If you
decided to use it somehow,  I'd like to see what you do.

In case I'm wrong about the era, and I could very well be,
let me know. This is on the back side of a post card so
it could be in the very early 20th century years. At any
rate, I am impressed by the very beautiful dress she has on.

  1. My Mom had the older sisters dressed like that. The boys in Nickers. Nice picture.
My Mom was married in England in 1919. So early 2o's. My Moms era with the outfits worm like this child. I was born 1942 much later.
