Paint Party Friday - two entries

I feel like this is not a legitimate entry since I have only a little of paint in this post. The boxes are hand stamped and constructed of 2 pieces of cardstock each. I am showing only four of the ones I made. Inside are the Christmas gifts for the wonderful ladies in the Bible study class I lead each week.

Tonight our granddaughter who is doing research for her PhD in Chemistry at Cal Berkeley called us to wish us Happy Thanksgiving. Before I knew it I had doodled this girl, which I later painted with watercolors. I decided that I'd show this off at Paint Party Friday.

  8. Wonderful gift boxes, and I believe any artistic endeavor qualifies for PPF even if it doesn't entail actual painting. The sketch of your granddaughter is so lively looking, as I imagine your telephone conversation was.

  17. Oh Faye I'm sure your ladies will be delighted with their boxes and the surprises inside. So much care has gone into them so how can anyone not apprecite them. Your girly doodle looks pretty good to me to be a doodle. I'm wondering if it resembles your grand-daughter in anyway?
