When it's too hot and humid to be outside, having a
place and the time to do art is a lifesaver!
This week's watercolor class was not a success for me.
I saw a few of the other students just taking off on
their own, not trying to follow the photo or sketch
that the instructor provided. The sketch was done in
very light pencil and copied so it was undecipherable.
The photo didn't look sharp to me but it may have been
my eyes. I made an attempt in class. Then I came home
and made mine into a pen and ink plus watercolor,
instead of just the watercolor painting.

My luncheon turned out to be a big success with the
ladies loving their bookmarks that I had made.
Sorry I missed last week but I really was too tired
