I am doing another painting of the hibiscus but changing the
locations of some of the leaves. This version is being done
in water soluble oil paints. From now on, whenever I say I
am doing something in oils, it will be the water mixable kind.
Almost all my regular oil paints have dried up. The background
color is a very dark green, not black as it looks here.
That is a copy of Valerie-Jael's hibiscus photograph above.
She graciously allowed me to use it.
Here is a phone doodle. I can't remember who I was
talking to, but the message must have been scary!
Below is where I cleaned it up and colored it using
Photoshop Elements. These are my PPF entries this week.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know you could get water soluble oils Faye, they sound more up my street than regular oils. Your hibiscus painting is looking good so far. Valeries photo is great inspiration.
