Angel Wings

Wings is the theme for Theme Thursday. My dh and I halved a Klondike bar for dessert. The shiny heavy foil wrapper looked like it could be used for art.

I glued it to heavy card stock and dribbled, dabbed and wiped alcohol inks over the surface. Then I used the beautiful angel stamp that Laura, a fellow volunteer at the nursing home, gave to me.

I may be away from the computer for a few days so I may be late to comment on others' challenge entries.

  19. You are like me Faye, when I see a shiny wrapper or even a scrap from a paper or magazine, I have to have it! Got quite a stash now, I cut out a 'pacific' type 'frame' from a drawing relating to the Samoan tsunami in the newspaper but
it will always remind me of that tragic day.
    Lovely effect on your piece!
