Gross frustration, disappointment, and anger at being scammed
by a contractor who took my money (lots of it), leftover supplies,
and walked off the job recently without finishing the project led to hours
of painting watercolor flowers to relieve the stress. These have been
made into greetings cards. Some have already been sent out and
I didn't get their pictures taken. This is my PPF entry for this week.
so sorry to hear about the contractor, this happens more often than we like to think. But your art is beautiful this week, hope you can find a good contractor to finish up.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to relieve stress (even though it was caused by an ugly-hearted human being!) somehow - beauty flowed through your fingertips an onto the paper. Love your flower paintings especially the mauve second one - its so soft. I hope you have a much better weekend ahead.

ReplyDeleteI hope you can do something about that contractor. What a scum-bag he sounds like. Sorry to hear about that. But I think your frustrations and anger have channeled into some beautiful cards. Hope things start to look up ASAP!
ReplyDeleteI really hate to hear you were so mistreated by such a creep!!! You did make some beautiful art while dealing with your frustrations. It's how I cope with stress too. Hope your days are better now and you are able to recover some of your money.

I am so sorry to hear about your terrible contractor experience, so remember Proverbs 10:9, "Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out." However, I am glad your purity of heart allowed you to produce such beautiful artwork. May the peace of the Lord be with you, my friend.
