The background started as a transfer from my large piece of Sheer Heaven™ but the color was so pink I had to add some other colors to it. By the time I had added a few dulling colors, the poor background paper was getting really warped. At this point I just decided to wad it up and hit the ridges with gold wax. The little girl in the oval is a Stampin' Up stamp my sister gave me. I painted the image with watercolor pencils.

ReplyDeleteI'm fascinated by your background paper. My first impression was Tyvek. I like the way you say "I just crumpled it up and touched it with gold (sic)" .... it makes the piece, my pretty lady. I like this stamp (thanks Sis!) ... All told this is the first I've seen today and I'm already choosing it as my favorite for the day!
