Gothic Arches - Photo
Here is my entry for Gothic Arches this week. The photo is one from my husband's side of the family. It merely says: "Mother feeding the chickens." Personally, I can't imagine going out into the chicken yard in a long skirt. The rooster is a Dover Publications freebie.

Bandana print challis skirt
Sitting in church this morning I looked down and noticed my skirt fits in with the bandana theme of the previous post, even though the fabric is challis, not cotton like a bandana.

Take a Word - NUMB3RS
Here is my entry for Take a Word. It started as a bread basket liner from O'Charleys that I sprayed and stamped with various colors. The flowers and swirls are stick-ons. The numbers are a combination of stick-ons and digital inventions.
I haven't done much art. We were expecting visitors from out of state Sunday. But prior to that happening, my dh had a very serious medical event while playing golf Wednesday. He went to ER and then was admitted to ICU for 3 days and to Telemetry for another day. We got home Saturday night. Our company arrived Sunday evening, not knowing of our emergency. They were charming and understanding. We had a wonderful visit with them and wish they had more time to stay. DH is recovering and will be back to his activities in the near future, we think.
I hope this hurry-up card is OK. I really love numbers. I work Sudoku every day, and I majored in mathematics in college.
